MagSafe Wallet for iPhone
Meet the Cardprotector for MagSafe
The Cardprotector for MagSafe is a magnetic addition to a design Secrid has been refining since 2009. The aluminium core and the patented pop-up mechanism are the same. What is new is a layer of magnets across the back, sized to engage with the MagSafe ring inside iPhones from the iPhone 12 onwards. Lay the wallet on the back of your phone, feel the click, and it is held in place. Daily activities like calls, photos, navigation and wireless charging continue as normal. When you want the wallet on its own, a brief sideways slide releases it. The mechanism works with MagSafe-compatible cases too.
What the MagSafe card holder carries
Inside the aluminium core, the Cardprotector for MagSafe carries four to six cards: contactless bank cards, your driving licence, an Oyster card or contactless travel card, a work pass, or whichever cards make up your daily set. The aluminium walls protect them from bending, breaking and unwanted wireless reading. Attached to your iPhone, it sits as your wallet for MagSafe through the day. Detached, it slips into a pocket as a stand-alone card holder. The same piece of metal, two ways to carry it through a day in the UK.
A MagSafe wallet for men and women alike
The aluminium form sits comfortably as a MagSafe wallet for men or as a MagSafe wallet for women. Where style preference shows up is in the finish, with colours ranging from polished black and gunmetal to brushed silver and warmer accents. Other Secrid wallets
A wallet that clips to your phone suits some, and Secrid offers several other options for everyone else. The standalone Cardprotector without magnets carries the same four to six cards in the slimmest format Secrid makes. The Miniwallet and Slimwallet bring leather and space for banknotes alongside up to ten cards. For coins and small items, the Envelope Wallet has an integrated compartment built in. And if 16 cards is closer to your daily count, the Twinwallet is two Cardprotectors in one.
