    Designer MagSafe Wallet

    Meet the Cardprotector for MagSafe

The Cardprotector for MagSafe is built on top of a design that has been in continuous production since 2009. As a MagSafe wallet designer with sixteen years of Cardprotector work behind them, Secrid carried over the anodised aluminium core, the patented pop-up mechanism, and the RFID-blocking properties from the original. The new element is the array of magnets fitted to the back panel, sized to engage with the MagSafe ring inside iPhones from the iPhone 12 onwards. Once aligned, the wallet sits flush against the back of the phone and stays in place through calls, photos, navigation and wireless charging. A small sideways slide releases it for use on its own.

The design shows up most clearly in the everyday details. The anodised aluminium keeps its finish through years of slipping in and out of pockets on the Tube, in the rain, and at the till. The pop-up mechanism is built around a single thumb press, leaving your other hand free for whatever else you are carrying. The edges are finished smooth enough to slide cleanly into a tight jeans pocket. Some shoppers come looking for a MagSafe cover card holder, by which they might mean a phone case with built-in card slots or an accessory like ours that sits against the back panel. The Cardprotector for MagSafe is the second kind: it attaches via magnets rather than enclosing the phone, leaving your existing case in place if you use one.

    Other Secrid wallets

A designer MagSafe wallet is one approach. If a different format works better for how you carry, Secrid has other options to consider. The standalone Cardprotector without magnets is the slimmest way to carry four to six cards on its own. The Miniwallet and Slimwallet combine the same pop-up mechanism with leather and space for banknotes, holding up to ten cards in total. For coins and small items alongside your cards, the Envelope Wallet adds an integrated storage compartment. And if sixteen cards is closer to your daily count, the Twinwallet doubles the Cardprotector format.
