Secrid collaborates with artist Franky Sticks on a Limited Edition Cardprotector. The synergy of two creative hearts blossoms into three original art prints by the artist, engraved on 100 Stonewashed Cardprotectors. With this collaboration, Franky Sticks emphasises the guiding power of love towards a better future – ‘Love That Will Never Die’.

Why are art and love so important to you?
Life is framed by art. Art allows us to communicate or even change things. There are many kinds of love: romantic love, self-love, love for family, and for the world. Love is the glue that holds us all together and gives value to life. It is a means to give back.
How did you experience working with Secrid?
One of the coolest aspects of the brief is the complete freedom I was given to design. I started this collaborative creative process with one of Secrid's core values – creativity as a force for good – that I connected with and built my own vision around it, resulting in 'Love That Will Not Die'.
What drives you to keep creating?
To leave something behind that did not exist before.
What do you love about collaborating?
Building meaningful relationships and mutually learning from each other. By joining forces and working synergically, you can achieve things you could never achieve alone.

Franky Sticks is a Rotterdam based illustrator and deejay. His illustration style is defined by simple but strong flowing lines combined with a vivid color palette. His work can be seen from different angles and perspectives and is characterized by the adventures of funny little men, who function as a metaphor for modern society, or by his pure and aesthetic pop style that encourages a two-way conversation between the artist and viewer. There is a timeless quality to his playful yet contemplative work, which is inspired by Rotterdam’s diverse landscapes and thriving mix of cultures. Franky Sticks’ portfolio includes murals, digital illustrations, sculptures, paintings and limited art prints.

Our Heartquarters
In 2009, three people started the Secrid adventure: Marianne, René and Paul. Thirteen years later, our creative family consists of more than 100 colleagues and we keep growing steadily.
How It All Started
Secrid is a family business and 100% owned by the Van Geer family. The company was founded by René van Geer and Marianne van Sasse van Ysselt.
