Privacy Policy

How we treat your information

Responsible for data processing:

Thank you for your interest in our online shop. The protection of your privacy is very important to us. Below you will find detailed information about how we handle your data.

1 - Access data and hosting

You can use our websites without providing any personal information. However, whenever you visit a website, the web server automatically saves a so-called server log file, which contains, for example, the name of the requested file, your IP address, the date and time of the visit, the amount of data transferred and the requesting provider (access data) and documents the visit.

This access data is evaluated exclusively for the purpose of ensuring the trouble-free operation of the site and improving our offer. In accordance with art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR, this serves to protect our legitimate interests in a correct presentation of our offer, provided that after considering all other interests, our interests are overriding. All access data is deleted seven days after the end of your visit to our website at the latest.

Hosting services by a third-party provider

Within the scope of a processing agreement, a third-party provider carries out the hosting and display of our website. All data collected during the use of this website or in online shop forms as described below are processed on this provider’s servers. Processing on other servers only takes place within the scope described here.

Some of these service providers are located within a country of the European Union or the European Economic Area.

One of these service providers is located in the USA and is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. You can view their latest certificate here. Based on this agreement between the USA and the European Commission, the latter identified an appropriate level of data protection for companies certified under the Privacy Shield.

2 - Data collection and use for the purpose of contract processing, making contact

We collect personal data that you submit to us when you place an order or contact us (e.g. via contact form or by email). Mandatory fields are marked as such, because in these cases we need the data in order to process the contract or your contact request and you will not be able to complete the order or send the contact request without filling them in. It is evident in each input form what data are collected.

We use the data you disclose to us in accordance with art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR for the purpose of processing contracts and handling your enquiries. Once your contract is processed completely, your data will be restricted for further processing and deleted after the expiry of any retention periods under tax and commercial law, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use your data for other purposes that are legally permitted and about which we inform you in this declaration.

3 - Data transfer

We disclose your data to the shipping company in the scope required for the delivery of the ordered goods according to art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR. Depending on the payment service provider you have selected during the ordering process, we disclose the payment details collected for order processing purposes to the bank commissioned to handle the payment and, as the case may be, to the payment service provider commissioned by us or to the selected payment service. Some of those data are collected by the selected payment service providers themselves if you open an account with them. In such a case, during the ordering process, you must register with your payment service provider using your access data. In this respect, the privacy notice of the relevant payment service provider applies.

We use payment and shipping service providers that are based in a country outside the European Union. The transfer of personal data to these companies only takes place within the scope of the necessity for the fulfilment of the contract.

Data transfer to shipping service providers

If you have given us your express consent to do so during or after your order, we will pass on your e-mail address and telephone number to the selected shipping service provider according to art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR, so that they can contact you for the purpose of announcing or coordinating the delivery.

Consent can be revoked at any time by sending a message to the address stated below or directly to the shipping service provider at the address stated below. After revocation, we will delete your data provided for this purpose, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use your data for other purposes that are permitted by law and about which we inform you in this declaration.
